What do you think honey?

March 6, 2008

The main quilt top is assembled waiting for the borders. I donned my big girl panties and sheepishly bravely showed my husband.

(Silence)

“It’s kinda bright.”

(Silence)

“That’s a lot of sewing.”

Hmmmn. No matter. I love it and it’s going on our bed.

Peg it is really great love the crisp green and aqua together. Your husband sounds like a lot of quilters husbands..they go through the two or three things hoping to hit on the right response!

Lovely quilt. My husband always says “Thats a lot of sewing”when he’s unsure about something, too. Its like at least they’re aknowledging that you spent a lot of time on it, which is somehow supposed to console you. I don’t know. Hilarious and typical comments. (sorry, I just found your blog from the “fresh modern quilts”flikr group and had to comment.
