Peachy Keen
June 25, 2008

About a month ago when we moved here, these were little fuzzy buds that looked like pussy willows. In another month or two, it will be peach cobbler. Yum.

The new issue of Midwest Living just had some luscious peaches on the cover. We were wondering how far we would have to drive to find real peaches that are the kind we remember having as kids. The ones we can get around here are never good. So…how far is it from Kansas City to these?

You’re welcome anytime, Jacquie, if you want to travel about 1500 miles. Let me know when you’re coming and I’ll start the cobbler.
