Hi Peg
I’m a first time quilter, I’m halfway through my first quilt for my niece & love it. I found your blog by accident & am so glad I did. YOU ARE VERY TALENTED, love your choice of fabrics & colours in these quilts. I’ve just discovered the MODA URBAN COUTURE fabrics which is how I found you. AM TOTALLY addicted to fabric & colours, last year I gave up breeding welsh cob ponies here in Australia & needed a new hobby – I found patchwork – material and lots of colours. My husband at the age of 50 took up racing vintage motorbikes, mid life crisis?? We don’t have kids, but I have 2 beautiful border collies Seamus & Niamh, so have time to indulge in the fabric variety
I am making a quilt for my Education class, representing the learning communities that we experience in our schools. Your quilts are beautiful and inspiring. I’m 20 and I think I’ve just found something new that I will enjoy doing for the rest of my life! My grandmother and great grandmother were quilters… suppose it’s in my blood. Thank you for sharing of the creativity that God has so richly blessed you with. I am encouraged and inspired!
Well, I am ashamed to say that this is the first time I’ve gone to your blog. I often think about it but unfortunately, not when I am actually on the computer. Anyway, I LOVE YOUR WORK!!!!!!! I’ve always been a big fan of your paintings; some of which are prominately displayed in our home, but now I’m a HUGE fan of your quilts too. Art is of the soul so that you are an excellent artist should not be asurprise to anyone that knows you.
