QOV Mission Accomplished

August 27, 2007 at 10:01 am 3 comments

The QOV quilt is now finished and ready to send away. I was matched up with a great longarm quilter who was really close by and she did a fantastic job. Thanks Cathy! The binding and label are done and I’ll be able to get it into the mail tomorrow. The destination will be a VA hospital in Wilmington, DE. Here’s a look before it goes to its new home.

    Peg,
What a great design for pinwheels and all the other blocks that go into this quilt. The color choices you made make this design stand out. I know whoever gets this wartime quilt will adore it. Oh…I also love all the quilting that went into the quilt. Nice contrast!
