Snowing Class

I haven’t had my sewing machine out in over a month. Groan. It’s been hard to get the time and space lately. I need to get back to “Snowing Class.” That’s what the big boy calls my sewing class. I had been going to an open quilting class this summer so I can make sure I get some time and space to sew. And I got the benefit of advice and feedback from a really great teacher who works for the New England Quilt Museum. She helped me to custom configure a courthouse step quilt block based on a specific focus fabric I had. Awesome. (Ideally a picture of that quilt in progress would be here but ssshhhh, it’s a gift.)

Anyway, I had to take September off though because I would miss too many classes. The October class doesn’t start until after Columbus Day. I’m in a little bit of withdrawal. Just one more week.
