Assembling the Windows

I sashed together four horizontal strips from the blocks last week. Next step will be another brown strip to tie these together… then borders… then voila…. a quilt top! When I came home from class with these, I found that my husband had a tough time with the boys. He was tired and a little grumpy. I didn’t dare show them to him. I know he peeks at my blog from time to time. (What do you think? Are you scared?) Something tells me we’ll be painting the bedroom a sedate color, no sense in competing with this eyeful.

Lookin’ good! I think there’s enough brown in it to make it “manly”, no?
