Blooming Nine Patch Progress

I’ve got the diagonal strips sewn up to the eighth fabric, that’s as far as the pattern goes. Of course, I can’t stick to a pattern so I’m adding an additional row, to make a queen sized quilt.


I think the subtle colors on the outside need something to bounce off of so they won’t be drowned out by the color in the center. I’m auditioning the center fabric to use on the edges. I think it works.

    love it!!! wow!!!! like the green but also what about the purple color that’s in between the pinks and reds? it shows up well on corner- would that work too??? I am drooling with envy 🙂

    Hi. I really to make a quilt like this but i can’t find the pattern online and i dont want to go buy a whole book. Would it be possible for you to send me this pattern?

    Oh my, I counted at one point. There are in excess of 200 nine patches. Yikes!
